Frequently asked
questions

How quickly can you arrange a care placement?

+
In urgent situations, we can often arrange an emergency placement within 24–48 hours. For planned admissions, we recommend contacting us as early as possible so we can prepare a thorough care plan and ensure the right room is available.

Can I visit before making a decision?

+
Absolutely β€” we actively encourage prospective residents and their families to visit our home before making any decisions. Tours are completely free and no-obligation. You can meet the team, see the facilities and ask as many questions as you like.

What are your visiting hours for residents' families?

+
Families are welcome to visit between 9:00am and 7:00pm, seven days a week. We believe staying connected with loved ones is vital to resident wellbeing, so we have a flexible, open-door approach to family visiting.

How is care funded and what does it cost?

+
Care can be funded privately, through local authority social services or through NHS Continuing Healthcare. Fees vary depending on the level and type of care required. Our admissions team can provide a full fee breakdown and help you understand your funding options.

What happens if a resident's needs change over time?

+
We review every resident's care plan regularly and adapt our support as needs evolve. In most cases, we can increase the level of care within the same home, meaning your loved one doesn't need to move as their needs change.

Are pets allowed in your care home?

+
We recognise the enormous benefit pets bring to our residents' wellbeing. Visiting pets are very welcome, and we consider requests for resident pets on a case-by-case basis. Please discuss this with our home manager during your visit.
